Changes to Envato Market revenue share and exclusivity
Effective July 1, 2026, the following changes will be implemented on Envato’s markets including Codecanyon:
Exclusivity Requirements Removal:
Authors will gain the freedom to sell their content on Envato as well as other platforms, enabling them to explore alternative business models that were previously unavailable.
As a result Envato will now take 50% of each item sale instead of the previous 20%.

Sngine Price Increase:
Sngine prices will be increased on July 1, 2026. So it is recommended to purchase your license now or upgrade to an extended license.
Sngine:
– For regular licenses, purchase it for $69 instead of $99.
– For extended licenses, purchase it for $139 instead of $199.
Sngine Native Messaging Apps:
– For regular licenses, purchase it for $39 instead of $69.
– For extended licenses, purchase it for $89 instead of $199.
